If You Are Feeling Flat or Stuck Right Now...

Hello.

My name is Alisha and it's been 32 days since I have swum in the ocean.

That could be the reason I feel a little flatter right now.

Or it could be that we are coming to the end of a very hard year. That went too fast but still had all the impact of a loooong year.

Or it could be that I've let my iron levels drop to 18. This is due to perimenopausal heavier and longer than usual bleeds (TMI?) and forgetting to take my beef liver capsules every day.

Or it could be because my knee is sore and I can't do my walks at the moment.

Or it could be that my daughter is having a flare up of her mental health struggles (or is this being a 14 year old girl in today's world?) and while we are managing it and she is fine and safe...it's been triggering for the whole family because what we went through at the end of last year didn't feel very fine or very safe at all. And that's what we are remembering.

Or it could be that my son is already on school holidays (say what now!?) and has been all week and I'm remembering what it means to juggle kids with work and life all day and that will go on for the next 10 weeks. And don't get me wrong, when I am in holiday mode, I relish every second with my kids as the years are flying by too fast and I hold onto so many moments so tightly and with both hands. That is when I can be present. And that's not all the time. But that's ok. It's the juggle that is killing me slowly!

Or it could be that this year has been tougher than ever in regards to work and business because everyone is doing it tougher financially and that is showing everywhere...so we work harder and stress more...

Or it could be that the world has had so many horrible and horrific shake ups that are ongoing and enter our sphere of awareness so quickly and so much more than they ever did before.

Or it could be because I didn't sleep great last night.

Or it could be because I really feel like a gluten free Tim Tam and I have none in the house (probably good because 1 might turn into 1 packet)

Or it could be because as a highly sensitive, neurodivergent person, I am feeling all the feels at the end of this year and wanting to make sure my beautiful tribe feels seen and heard too. You are not alone if you are feeling flat and 'stick a fork in me, I'm done' right about now.

So this is what I'm doing:

Booked a day at the ocean this weekend for a swim - check

Booked an end of year clearing for myself and business with a kinesiologist to check in what I need to do and change for next year - check

Created an amazing new product to help me with 2025 and beyond to be launched on December 31st - check

Allowed my daughter to take as many mental health days as she needs before her school term ends this year - check

Went to the butcher and bought lots of ready made things to throw on at night and serve with a salad so I don't have as much to think about! Some are in the freezer and some we have eaten this week. I'm talking a GF family meat pie, GF pulled pork croquettes, sausages, chicken skewers, even GF crumbed chicken for the air fryer! We have the best butcher nearby that is coeliac certified so why not take advantage of all these amazing ready to go things!? - check

I have also moved my supplements into one of those Monday - Friday pill boxes and put it right in clear view on the bench! I manage to get all my kids supplements sorted and into them daily so why not do me as well!? (such typical mum stuff right?) - check

Have booked some pilates classes in as my joints need strength training (clearly) and once they are booked and paid for, I'm sure to get to them right? (god I hope so...) - check

Next to my pill box, I have placed my Silly Season blend! This ensures I will take it at least once daily and hopefully will remember to take it again later (yes, even I forget to take my blends!) I'm lucky that I am so in love with the Silly Season Mist that I am like constantly misting it around me and the house (i have several throughout the house) as it's so uplifting and smells so much like Summer and Christmas that it immediately puts me in a good mood - check

So I just want you to know it's ok to be flat and stuck right now....and even if you change or implement just one thing to give you a lift, then that can domino into the next thing. It might even be just a call to a mate to have a whinge about life (god knows we feel better after a whinge right?)

And if you want a gentle energetic shift to do any of this, please check out our Silly Season Duo pack (blend and mist!) which is 20% off right now.

I see you!
