Full Moon in Aries - September 29th

It's definitely an advantage to live our lives with the knowledge that we are made up of energy and that everything around us is also made of energy.....and we need to remember that our emotions are also just energy!
E-motions (energy in motion) come and go and they can also be affected by what is going on around us energetically. 
The full moon is one of those things that can greatly affect our energy/emotions as the fuller the moon, the greater the pull on the water in our body (just like the moon pulls the tides) and guess where our energy vibrations are most active? Within the water in our bodies! 
We are made up of around 60% water so there can be a lot of emotional shifts going on during the lunar phases which are of course heightened when the moon is at it's fullest. Just ask teachers, nurses and doctors how their shifts go around the full moon!
And depending on what time of the year it is and where the moon is in the sky, it can have an extra layer of specific energy that we can harness and use for our benefit.
You don't have to be an Aries to make use of this full moon energy as it affects all star signs, although those born under the Aries sign may feel this energy a little more than others.

So what's happening energetically for us this full moon?
This month's full moon occurs in Aries on September 29th here in Australia at 7.27pm AEST. This is another supermoon (appearing larger as it's closer to the Earth) and our last supermoon of the year!

Full moons are always a time of powerful manifesting, achieving our goals and releasing energy that we no longer want or need to carry over to the next month. And just as the full moon marks a completion or an ending to something....it is also the start of something new as the cycle begins again.
This full moon in Aries energy:
  • is ending the month with a bit of a bang! As it's in the fiery sign of Aries, emotions and energy can feel a little more intense...and we will notice that fiery energy rising in ourself and others...

  • If there was one word you need to keep in mind during this current energy, it is the word PAUSE! Pause your reactions, your thoughts, your words and just take a bit of a step back. If you can pause your reactions right now, you will be thanking astrologers everywhere for being able to give you this insight at the moment because a lot of unnecessary conflict can be avoided.

  •  There will be feelings of inner conflict as you wrestle with yourself and there will also be conflict surfacing in your relationships. Try and lean into the discomfort of the conflict and avoid trying to jump in and fix anything. Whether that need to 'fix' comes about through self soothing and distracting behaviours or trying to talk through something with anyone you feel in conflict with...Just let it sit for a while and feel the intensity of the energy just fizzle out on it's own.

There is still a lot of fun and harmony to be found so go looking for the joy, the spark or just anything that lights that fire in you in a good way!
  • There is a huge cosmic dump of spiritual and creative energy with this full moon so explore any activities like painting, dancing, writing, drawing, meditating - anything that will help you explore and navigate this subconscious high energy potential

  • So to wrap it up, expect a download of inspiration, bursts of creativity, being drawn to socialising and joy and needing to be very careful about the conflict that seems to be around every corner! But most of all, don't forget that PAUSE button on your reactions to things!

Ok, so given the conflict energy around, all I'm going to say when it comes to dealing with your kids at the moment is brace yourself, pause and back away where you can. So important to pick your battles and hopefully you can let most of your battles go through to the keeper.

With any conflict with older kids, try and save the teachable moments and important conversation for anything that really needs to be addressed later on. For younger kids, it's hard to win any battles there anyway so just let them get it out of their system (and you might just have to count to 100 in your head while doing some deep breaths!)
