Why I've Started A New Blog Space...
Hi! Welcome to my new blog; Alisha's 360!
What is it all about?…Well I have been known as the Naughty Naturopath Mum for around 13 years now and I love writing there but it’s also very attached to my business…and this new blog, and the writing here, is going to be purely personal.

I started my Naughty Naturopath Mum blog when I had just had my first bub as a place to reach out and connect with other mums and maybe even offer them advice or help them and their families with their emotional and physical health. You can take the naturopath out of the clinic but you can’t take the naturopath out of the woman so to speak!
The words I put here will be more revealing, more diary entry type writing, and just sharing my experiences of motherhood (as a mum of 2 young teens now) self identity, perimenopause adventures, family, travel, food, and anything that picks me up or tears me down.
That’s what will remain the same here…you will still get the warts and all type of writing as always…because its the downs as well as the ups that truly connects us.
So if you are here, and plan to stay here (come on, you know you want to see how this goes! 😉) just know that this space will be very authentic, maybe a bit eye opening and hopefully occasionally entertaining…I love to write and words are my absolute jam. I studied english and journalism straight out of school because of my love of the written word but because I hate to write with a formula, that career was not to be…
So I jumped ship into my second jam (more like a marmalade maybe?) which was Naturopathy which I also really loved and went on to become a clinical Naturopath. When I started my family and left clinic for a moment (which turned into forever!) imagine my joy in finding something called a ‘blog’ and be able to write and connect people with the knowledge I had when it came to raising their kids?
To grow Naughty Naturopath Mum with my two loves combined (naturopathy and words!) has been the biggest gift but it’s definitely full circle time. A full 360 if you will! I need to write as though I’m attached to nothing but me and that’s what we will have here.

What You Can Expect Here
I’ll be planning to post once a week, I’m thinking Sundays when I get into a rhythm but it could be a little more or a little less depending on what life is throwing at me!
Just so you have an inkling of who I am and what I might fixate on or want to blab about - I’m a newly diagnosed ADHD 47 year old in the depth of perimenopause (I know, I know, very un-special and not unique at all at the moment!) and I struggle with my own health, my parenting, my marriage and keeping on top of what I have and haven’t watched on my streaming channels (I know it’s supposed to be easy right but other family members keep watching stuff through my profile and I may occasionally and accidentally watch my shows through my husband's profile and it’s just chaos I tell you, chaos!)
As you know already, I love health and words but I also love pilates, cheese, wine, chocolate, walking, nature, walking in nature (funny that!) my psychologist, the ocean, travelling, reading, my book club, scrolling through funny reels, cat reels, my Russian Blue cat named Bernie, my cavoodle Frida, eating out at nice restaurants, Japanese food, swearing, all of the streaming channels except Kayo, energy healing, infrared saunas, jokes and pranks, pretty much all art and music and I am sometimes very fond of my husband and children. Sometimes. I am famous for telling it like it is. I’m also a Scorpio born in the year of the snake. No apologies for any of that.
So I hope you enjoy this new blog space of just my words! Please drop me a hello or introduction below as I would love to have this new blog space be interactive and start conversations!
Until next time,
Alisha x
